Welcome to St. James and All Souls website

In July 2005 Bishop Terence Brain amalgmated the two parishes St James & Mother of God and All Souls & St. John Vianney into one new parish family, thus creating St James and All Souls. The parish priest is Revd. Fr. Shaun K. Braiden.

Father Shaun has been here in the Parish since 2002, he has also served in Chorlton, Blackburn and in hospital chaplaincy.

Father Shaun was born in Bury on 5th December 1966 and was ordained on 29th June 1996 by Archbishop Michael Fitzgerald.

Father Shaun is also the chaplain at Salford University along with Sr Teresa Wild. Mass is offered at the university on Tuesdays at 6pm and on Sundays at 12:30pm, during term times only!
